Best wireless provider in the area?

Our contract for wireless expires soon and we're shopping around for deals and such now.

We've been with Alltel, but not so crazy about their service.

Anyone had particularly good or bad experiences with wireless providers in the area?

No problems with Alltel.

Verizon.
Hated alltel with a passion. The service was very poor and customer service awful.

And in Wise County your choices are pretty much limited to Verizon or Alltel.

Stick with Alltel, not heard anyone that was very satisfied with anything else. Especially if you travel anywhere locally out of Norton. Plus Verizon packages and phone deals don't compare to Alltel's.

Veriozon sucks in a great number of places in Wise Co. I lived right across from an Alltel tower in Coeburn and one of my friends couldn't even get out on his verizon service.
